Our Beginning

Where It All Started

North Woodbridge Veterinary Hospital was founded by Dr. Stephanie Farkouh Andric and Dr. Justin Surette with a clear mission: to create a veterinary practice where every pet is treated like family.

With over 35 years of combined experience, Dr. Stephanie and Dr. Justin have built a warm, modern facility in the heart of Woodbridge that serves the Vaughan communities of Kleinburg, Maple, and Woodbridge.

Our hospital is a full-service, privately owned practice devoted to providing exceptional veterinary care. From preventive wellness to complex surgical procedures, we offer comprehensive services under one roof, delivered by a team that genuinely cares about every patient.

Dr. Stephanie Farkouh Andric
Veterinarian & Co-Owner

Dr. Stephanie Farkouh Andric

Born and raised in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Dr. Stephanie's love of animals has been a lifelong passion. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Laurentian University before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) at the University of Guelph, graduating in 2009.

After graduation, Dr. Stephanie gained experience in both emergency medicine and general practice before co-founding North Woodbridge Veterinary Hospital. Her professional interests span preventive medicine, dentistry, pain management, and surgery.

At home, Dr. Stephanie shares her life with her cat Henry and dog Charlie. When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys horseback riding, yoga, playing piano, and skiing.

Dr. Justin Surette

Originally from Pubnico, Nova Scotia, Dr. Justin developed his passion for veterinary medicine early. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Brunswick before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island in 2001.

Following graduation, Dr. Justin completed a prestigious Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship in Manhattan, New York, which deepened his expertise in complex medical cases and advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Justin's professional interests include preventive medicine, internal medicine, palliative care, and client education. He believes strongly in empowering pet owners with knowledge to make the best decisions for their animals. In his spare time, Dr. Justin is a talented pencil drawing artist.

Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Mark

Dr. Jessica Mark earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph in 2021, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), graduating with the Class of 2025.

During her education, Dr. Jessica gained remarkable international experience. She worked with the ASPCA on rescue and shelter medicine initiatives, contributed to cheetah conservation research in Namibia, and participated in wildlife disease surveillance programs.

This diverse background gives Dr. Jessica a unique perspective on animal care, combining traditional companion animal medicine with insights from wildlife and shelter medicine. She brings fresh energy and a deep compassion for all animals to our team.
